Education

Academic staff members affiliated with the Fernand Braudel Centre for European and International research are actively involved in teaching activities at the History Faculty of Irkutsk state University. BA and Master’s degree programs offered by the Department of World History and International Relations include the following educational tracks:

-          BA in International Relations (International Relations and Foreign Policy)

-          BA in Regional studies (Asian Studies)

-          Master’s program in International Relations (The History of International Relations in 20th century)

-          Master’s program in History (The History of International Relations)

Futhermore, the Centre staff members provide courses on different aspects of international relations for the students of BA programs in History and in Political Science.

These courses deal primarily with an in-depth analysis of different regions within international system, e.g. of European countries and of Asia-Pacific region, as well as with the detailed analysis of Russian foreign policy. They focus on the development of international organizations and integration processes, on the broad spectrum of international political and security issues, and on various aspects of IR history.
